The White-Waitzman barn will be the site of the next Old School versus High Tech cooking class held in Kansas City on May 30th & 31st, 2008. This barn is where the first Pellet Envy class was held about a year back from this date and is decidedly “old school.” Slated for demolition, this barn is an 1880’s timber framed structure that was moved from it’s original location. Mr. Zimmerman had the foresight to realize that barns like this are disappearing from the rural landscape in the midwest
